The 178F fuel injector is designed for the direct injection systems of KD178F and KD178FE single-cylinder diesel engines. It features a side fuel inlet with an M14x1.5 thread and a 4-hole type nozzle, enabling precise fuel atomization at rated speeds of 3000 to 3600 RPM. With a nozzle opening pressure of 21 MPa and optional hole diameters of 0.21 mm, 0.23 mm, and 0.25 mm, it delivers flow rates ranging from 0.90 to 1.10 L/min. This injector works in tandem with the fuel pump to ensure accurate fuel delivery and full combustion, supporting a steady power output of 5.0 to 5.4 horsepower. It contributes to lower fuel consumption, better engine response, and reliable long-term performance.
