Yanmar series 178F fuel injection pump is applicable to the KD178F and KD178FE single-cylinder air-cooled engines
Excellent product with exquisite craftsmanship.
The 178F Fuel Injection Pump is specifically designed for Yanmar-series KD178F and KD178FE single-cylinder diesel engines, delivering precise fuel control to match their 20:1 high compression ratio and four-stroke configuration. Featuring a flat tappet design and a stable pump-side pressure of 30–40 MPa, this pump ensures consistent fuel delivery even under rated speeds of 3000–3600 RPM. It uses a 6.0 mm plunger with top-clearance configuration and a fueling advance angle of 18°, supporting efficient combustion. The outlet uses an M12x1.5 fitting, while the inlet accommodates an 8 mm rubber hose for flexible installation. Under working conditions, the engine maintains 3.7–4.0 kW power output with a low fuel consumption rate of 275–280 g/kW·h, providing reliable and economical performance for agricultural machinery, generators, and construction equipment.
